Warriors Get Revenge Over Cougars

The Warriors volleyball team had better fortunes over the Letcher County Cougars last night than the last time they faced off. On August 29th, the Cougars came out on top of the Warriors in five sets, handing Central their first regular season loss of the year. Last night, the Warriors returned to The Hill to take on Letcher County for the second time this year. For Central, it was their third game of the week, and the Warriors were unfazed. The Warriors dominated from start to finish, sweeping the Cougars in three sets (25-17, 25-23, 25-12). Emmah McAmis led the team in kills with 18. She also added in 12 digs. Abbie Jordan followed that up with 8 kills. Emma Ramsey led in service points with 13 and also had 8 digs. Libero Sophie Fleming had 9 digs, and setter Emilee Mullins set up 23 assists as well as 6 digs. The volleyball team will return to action on Saturday for a tournament at Science Hill in Johnson City, TN. #GoDubs
